462.50 Approval Of Courses And Curriculum

The overall program, curricula, and program learning outcomes as well as courses and course learnings outcomes will be reviewed and approved by the Graduate Curriculum Committee. The Graduate Curriculum Committee will consist of a minimum of six (6) faculty members with earned credentials appropriate to teaching in a graduate program as well as the Vice President of Academic Affairs. The Committee will be chaired by the Dean of Graduate Studies who is not a voting member. A quorum of four voting members will be required to approve curriculum, courses, procedures, and other graduate matters. The Graduate Program Coordinator is not a voting member and will maintain minutes of all meetings. Other college staff members may attend meetings but are not voting members. The Graduate Curriculum Committee will maintain a written set of procedures that provide guidance for curriculum and course review.
