I. Full-Time Faculty Salary
Beginning faculty salaries and increments are governed by the President. New full-time faculty members will negotiate with the College for an amount within the salary range provided within the position advertisement at the time of hire. Full-time faculty members will be paid according to the levels on the SKC Salary Schedule.
Faculty members will move laterally on the salary schedule according to the following conditions:
- Salary increase for additional credentials or degrees will be awarded at the beginning of the next academic year following completion of the credentials/degree. Transcripts for the degree(s) earned must be submitted to the President to qualify for a salary increase.
When the budget will allow, the President may grant salary adjustments based upon length of service, merit and other factors related to job performance and the availability of funds within the range approved by the President.
II. Part-Time Faculty Salary
Part-time faculty members will be paid at a rate based on the credit hours taught and according to the salary rate for adjunct instructors.
