The Human Resource Office will establish and maintain a comprehensive personnel file for each employee. Personnel files are confidential and secured in the Human Resource Office located in the Big Knife Building. Records in the Human Resource Office supersede all other department records and files. It is the responsibility of the Department Head to insure that all personnel records and information on each employee are forwarded to the Human ResourceOffice. Inactive files are kept for a period of three years.
