The Board of Directors is committed to assessing its own performance as a Board in order to identify its strengths and areas in which it may improve its functioning.
The Board of Directors will conduct a self-assessment process at least every two years or at the Board’s discretion to include:
- The completion of a self-assessment instrument by each member of the Board, which is returned to the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
- A discussion of the compiled results.
- The development of a set of objectives for the next year or appropriate timeframe.
