A Non-Exempt Position is a position subjected to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Employees in non-exempt positions are paid hourly wages including time and one-half (overtime) for all hours in excess of 40 hours per week and two and one-half (2 ½) for hours worked on a designated holiday.
