The tuition fee may be waived for all honorable discharged persons who served with the United States forces in any of its wars and who were bona fide residents of the State of Montana at the time of entry into the United States military service and/or enrolled members of Indian Tribes of the United States.  This waiver shall not apply to persons who qualify for other veterans benefits under applicable sections of Title 38 of the U.S. code and shall apply only to those who have at some time qualified for benefits, but who are no longer eligible.
